Yale School of Management

The School of Management organizes a number of hackathons, often in collaboration with other departments and universities.  Recent hackathons include the Healthy Wearables Hackathon and the 2015 CBIT-CORE Patient Experience Hackathon.

Yale Center for Engineering Innovation & Design

The Yale CEID leads hackathons typically involving engineering and the use or creation of devices and gadgets to address issues.  They recently held Hack the Brain, a hackathon targeting mental health care.

Innovate Health Yale

Innovate Health Yale is a group of Yale faculty, program directors, and students focused on using the principles of entrepreneurship and innovation to promote health and prevent disease. They train students to become change agents and catalyze interdisciplinary entrepreneurial efforts to address national and global health problems, focusing on underserved communities in the US and low-resource countries.

Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale

The Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale (CITY) has the mission to inspire and support students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to seek innovative ways to address real-world problems. Launching in Fall 2017, we’re building a new center of gravity to help students, faculty, and alumni collaborate more effectively across disciplines, endeavors, and ways of thinking about the world.  Tsai CITY is a transformative addition to the Yale campus landscape, dedicated to advancing the university’s goal of creating an interdisciplinary learning environment that cultivates innovators, leaders, pioneers, creators, and entrepreneurs in all fields and for all sectors of society.
